🧠 The role

Join as a founding Operations Research Engineer and build our learning-augmented optimization stack for real-world planning & routing. Turn messy constraints into production systems, balancing quality vs. latency so decisions run in-loop with our agents. Mix of research, pragmatic engineering, and close work with ops.

🔍 What you’ll do

• Design & ship optimization services for planning (heuristics + learning-based). 🚚
• Deliver measurable wins on cost, feasibility, SLA adherence, and latency. 😮‍💨
• Add ML where it matters: forecasts, service times, policy/value learning. 📈
• Build diagnostics so operators trust outputs. 📦
• Partner with customers to turn rules into deployable models. 🤝
  

✅ Must-have skills

• 5+ years building & shipping optimization/ML systems (or PhD + 2 yrs).
• Track record of taking ideas from research to production.
• Depth in at least one: RL, (very) large-scale optimization, or applied ML (focused on graphs).
• Strong systems experience (production code, pipelines, orchestration, monitoring).
• Clear communication; fluent English.
• Nice to have: routing/planning, forecasting, or graph learning.
• German (B2+) is a plus. 🇩🇪
