As a Senior Robotics Engineer (m/f/d), you will be integral in driving our company's next phase of innovation - automating industrial processes to address the scarcity of skilled labor. We have already proven our ability to optimize processes and increase efficiency, and now we are determined to automate tasks within industrial environments. Your main focus will be on R&D and will involve building and showcasing a demonstrator that utilizes industrial robot arms to automate currently manual tasks.

With a strong background in robotics, system design, control systems, and hardware integration, you will have the autonomy to select the appropriate robot arm and sensors while also receiving support on the software side to ensure successful implementation.

Your role
  • Lead R&D efforts in robotics to integrate them into our company's operations.

  • Research and develop robotic solutions that align with our vision of empowering blue-collar workers in manufacturing.

  • Prototype and test new robotic systems, focusing on both hardware and software components.

  • Collaborate across departments to identify potential robotic applications in our processes.

  • Stay updated on advancements in robotics and apply this knowledge in our projects.

  • Document and publish findings to contribute to both our company’s knowledge base and the broader field of robotics.

Your profile
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with a strong emphasis on robotics.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in robotics research or development.

  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to robotics, such as C++, Python, ROS.

  • Demonstrated experience with machine learning algorithms and AI techniques as applied to robotics.

  • Hands-on experience with sensor integration and signal processing, including LIDAR, ultrasonic, and vision systems.

  • Knowledge of robotic system design and simulation.

  • Understanding of real-time operating systems and embedded systems design for robotics applications.

  • Experience with automation technologies and industrial robotic systems used in manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex robotics systems.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory
