In today's world, more people have access to the internet than access to justice. We’re developing a claims drafting factory, which will automatically produce legal claim packages using AI. This will allow us to deliver an easier, more efficient, and higher quality legal service for customers.

As a fast-moving venture, we’ve closed three pilots with prominent enterprise customers and raised 1mln EUR in a pre-seed investment from Merantix, Europe’s leading specialist AI Fund. Now we’re growing the team to make our vision a reality.

Your role

As an ML engineer you will help build our machine learning organisation, reporting directly to the CTO. You will develop and improve our AI systems, making automated legal claims generation possible.

Responsibilities:

• developing and evaluating large systems of interconnected LLM-powered components,
• prompt engineering,
• fine-tuning large language models,
• developing and implementing novel search and QA algorithms

Your profile

You are a driven engineer, an outlier, with a track-record of exceptional ML engineering.

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of experience in ML engineering related to NLP/LLMs
• Strong software engineering experience with software design / architecture skills, preferably in Python.
• Demonstrated ability in productionizing and optimizing large-scale ML systems, preferably LLMs.
• Strong drive to shape the future of the legal system

Strong Pluses:

• Prior startup experience.
• Experience at elite AI research labs (OpenAI, Google Brain, DeepMind).
• Exposure to product development in sensitive industries like legaltech, fintech, insurtech, or self-driving vehicles.
