We are looking for full stack engineers to join our fast-growing team. You'll play a central role in building the backend of our generative AI products to help automate many manual processes faced by lawyers.

You will focus on backend development, reporting directly to our CTO, and as part of a lean engineering team you'll have a chance to contribute across the stack.

Skills and expertise

• In-depth experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask or Django)
• Some experience with Svelte or React
• Experience with software engineering practices
• Experience building scalable SaaS applications

Good to have

• Experience with Open Telekom Cloud
• Experience using or deploying LLMs for inference
• Knowledge of best practices regarding security, data protection and pseudonymization

Personal qualifications

• A self-starter mindset - you enjoy working independently while keeping the team’s common goal in mind
• A pragmatic approach to problem solving. It’s more important to you to solve the problem than to use new/hyped technology
• An understanding of trade-offs between simple 80% solutions and complex, maintenance-heavy 100% solutions

Practicalities

Our team works in person at the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin. Our target market is German-speaking countries, so fluency in German is a big plus. You must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
