The Merantix AI Campus is the leading platform for uniting key stakeholders in a collaborative AI environment, fostering transparency and exchange. We’ve started to grow internationally with pop-ups in Basel and London, we also co-initiated the AI House 2024 at the World Economic Forum, featuring 180+ speakers and 5,000 attendees. Merantix is looking for a driven generalist and team player for their Merantix AI Campus organisation to run and grow its operations and finance

We view operational excellence as the backbone of our organisation -- only when fully functioning can we unlock true community building! As our Operations & Finance Manager, you'll enhance member and partner experiences by managing operations and finance, manage one of our 5 FTEs, and collaborating with our leadership to improve processes and scale our organisation.

Your main responsibilities will contain:

• Take full ownership of our 6000m2-large building and management of our day to day business;

• Challenge the status quo of our processes and initiate improvement measures and take responsibility for automation and optimisation of our organisation;

• Work closely with our leadership, taking a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and resolving trending / common issues;

• Manage and own the relationship with our service providers and external stakeholders to achieve the best possible results;

• Own the budget, be responsible for our financial controlling, bookkeeping and contract management.

• You have already worked in a similar role within a dynamic environment for at least 2+ years;

• You have excellent communication verbal and written in both German and English;

• You have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams;

• You are a hands-on person with an eye for the detail;

• You are highly self-organised and have a structured approach to work with an ability to multitask;

• You are passionate about creating meaningful impact and contributing to the European AI revolution.
