Systems Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role
Your main responsibilities will be:
Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of client production systems through proactive management.
Maintain the lifecycle of hardware components, including procurement, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure effective resource utilization and cost management.
Quickly address and resolve incidents to minimize downtime and disruption.
Monitor the health and performance of both physical and virtual servers to ensure optimal operation.
Track and analyze usability metrics to ensure that tools and systems meet user needs and provide a positive experience.
Work in the platform engineering team to support and advance our internal tools and systems.
Implement automation solutions to enhance internal processes and tool efficiency.
Assist in the development and evolution of internal tools to improve functionality and usability.
Manage user access and permissions for internal and client systems.
Create and maintain thorough documentation for systems, processes, and implemented solutions.

You are a great fit for our team if you bring these qualifications:
Have experience managing cloud systems with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform or Ansible)
Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest DevOps advancements, including infrastructure automation and continuous delivery (i.e. GitOps, Terraform, Flux), with hands-on experience in containerization technologies (i.e Docker and Kubernetes)
Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Strong skills in system maintenance, user administration, and network management.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK/EFK, Grafana, Prometheus).
Knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working directly with clients.
Fluency in English
